Storyline

Vega Albright is a 28 year old Laundromat clerk. He’s spent his entire life in and around the business originally owned by his Father, Harvey. A freak electrical accident left Vega fatherless at 23 and the shop being inherited by his Aunt, Harvey’s sister, Helen. It was Vega’s haphazard mistake that killed his Dad, and to this day him and his Aunt struggle to deal with guilt and grief. The appearance of Hannah, a young and vibrant back packer, brings a fresh perspective on life, reminding Vega of his desire to explore. It’s been a long time since Vega let anyone in and Hannah just might be the person to help him dispel his remorse. He’s served his Aunt and his guilt for long enough… but can he make the leap toward rediscovering himself?

They did everything together and had a very supportive, nurturing relationship. His father’s sister, Aunt Helen, exercises her own anger and grieving to keep Vega in his place. She’s independent and strong but looking to connect with someone

Name: Aunt Helen Albright Gender: Female Age: 56
Aunt Helen is 56 and has never been married. She lost her brother, Harvey (Vega’s Father), five years ago and masks her sadness with anger. She inherited the Laundromat from Harvey but tries to keep her distance. She’s afraid of being alone and exploits Vega’s guilt to make sure he doesn’t leave

Name: Harvey Albright Gender: Male Age: 48
Harvey Albright was 48 when he died tragically. He immigrated from Germany with his family when he was five. He lost his wife during the birth of his only child, Vega. He was a guys guy… the tough love sort, but Vega admired and looked up to him very much.
