“Heavy Is The Crown” is a story of two friends and the worst event that could befall them, becoming strangers. Once thick as thieves, with dreams and aspirations, they are shattered by the onset of war. Upon its conclusion, the two returned home, unharmed but not unchanged. No longer satisfied with the state of their childhood home, they set about to fix it. Roman, a soldier at heart, tried to fix it in the way he had learned abroad. But when that failed, Roman was driven to exile, and Jude tried his way. And he was successful where Roman failed but his hold on the city was fragile. So, he made a harsh choice, which lead to harsher choices, which lead to a conclusion he could not avoid. But when Roman hears of his friend’s choices, he realizes that he might be the only one to stop the madness.
