Additional Information & Safety Protocols:

Trigger Warning: This script deals with sensitive themes, including childhood trauma and abuse.

Character 1
Giant
Age
20s
Gender
Male
Description
Giant is a young man grappling with deep emotional trauma and unresolved issues with his father. He has an intense, brooding demeanor but occasionally displays vulnerability, particularly as he struggles to express his long-buried memories of abuse. Giant's conflict between love and hatred toward his father is central to his character. He navigates between trying to seek closure and lashing out.
Character 2
Rolls
Age
50-60s
Gender
Male
Description
Rolls is a father seemingly oblivious to the pain he has caused his son. He is detached, often distracted by minor or irrelevant details, such as his own appearance or physical health, which contrasts with the gravity of the situation. Rolls embodies a certain comic aloofness, frequently derailing serious conversations with nonsensical or trivial concerns. Despite his sometimes humorous quirks, there is an underlying sense of denial and avoidance in his interactions with Giant. Rolls’ lack of awareness and unwillingness to confront his past actions makes him both frustrating and pitiable. He is emotionally distant, wrapped in his own world, even in moments of revelation.
