Project Synopsis
When Andy, a reclusive animator, notices unsettling interactions between his neighbours, he struggles with whether to intervene or look away. As tensions escalate, he is forced to confront his own fears and moral responsibility. Neighbourhood Watch explores the silent bystander effect and the complexities of witnessing something one doesn't want to see.

Character 1
Andy
Age
25-32
Gender
Male
Description
A quiet, introverted animator who keeps to himself. Slim to average build, slightly scruffy, casual appearance. Needs an actor who can convey hesitation, inner conflict, and observation. Regular everyday looking person. (Self-Tape Scene - Internal Conflict - Andy is sitting on his bed, looking at his phone. He starts typing a message about what he saw but hesitates, erases, and rewrites it multiple times. Frustrated, he puts his phone down and paces the room, glancing back at the phone as if deciding whether to take action. Finally, he picks it up and dials 911—but when the operator answers, he panics and hangs up.)
Character 2
Man in the window
Age
30-40
Gender
Male
Description
A physically imposing, intense presence. Strong or stocky build. Needs an actor who can convincingly portray control, anger, and intimidation. (Self-Tape Scene - Power & Control - The man is sitting on the couch, eating. He takes a bite, doesn’t like it, and slams his plate down. His frustration builds, and he tells his partner to “just sit down.” When she responds, he suddenly explodes, raising his voice. He throws the plate, stands aggressively, and looms over her, asserting dominance.)
