Project Synopsis
SUCK is the latest passion project from indie writer/director Ty Javos, blending horror, comedy, and the all-too-relatable agony of modern dating.
The story follows Mia, a hopeless romantic with a habit of diving headfirst into toxic relationships. This time, her friends have had enough. Determined to save her from yet another emotionally unavailable scumbag, they gear up for an intervention. But there’s one small problem… Mia’s new man isn’t just a walking red flag—he’s a centuries-old vampire with an ego bigger than his fangs.
As reality (and blood) gets sucked out of the situation, Mia’s friends must decide: Do they risk everything to pull her out of this deadly situationship, or let her get ghosted—permanently?
With its sharp humour, biting social commentary, and plenty of blood-soaked chaos, SUCK puts a fresh, fanged twist on the horrors of modern romance.
COVID-19 & Health Safety: We will follow all necessary health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe set environment. Hand sanitization stations will be available, and any necessary precautions will be communicated prior to filming.
Stunt & Effects Safety: Minimal stunt work may be required (e.g., light physical interactions, simulated biting, blood effects). Professional guidance will be provided to ensure actor safety.
Special Effects & Makeup: Actors may be required to wear prosthetics, fake blood, or vampire fangs. All materials will be skin-safe and allergy considerations will be taken into account.
Intimacy & Boundaries: Any close physical interactions (e.g., biting, tension-driven scenes) will be choreographed with consent-based direction, and an intimacy coordinator will be consulted if needed.
On-Set Atmosphere: We prioritize a professional, inclusive, and respectful set. Any concerns regarding safety, boundaries, or accommodations will be addressed with care and confidentiality.
