Project Synopsis
This story will follow a young couple, Selene and Luca, as they learn to navigate their new circumstances of their now long-distance relationship. They must learn to deal with the physical distance, as well as the inevitability of negative thoughts and strong emotions. Selene is a strong willed, passionate, emotionally driven woman. Luca is a calm, selfless, thoughtful, private man. The two have different personalities, but are complementary forces. Selene struggles to balance her mind, and her heart, and must learn to communicate her feelings and thoughts with Luca. After getting caught up in her past, she decides to face her emotions, channeling them into her artistic practice, writing a poem.

Description
Selene is a strong, emotionally driven, artistic, and passionate young woman. She has gone through a lot of difficult times to get to where she is today, and feels the effects of her past in her current relationship. She battles her negative thoughts and must overcome her fears and reservations to allow true love into her heart, as well as her mind. With Luca's reminders and support, Selene knows that the grass is greener on the other side, and knows this will all be worth it in the end. In an effort to understand her own feelings, she must make them tangible, using her poetic skills to transform her struggles into art.

Luca is a selfless, thoughtful, honest, and loving young man. He must move back home for a while, as he and selene still learn about one another, and nurture their blossoming relationship while being long-distance. Luca will always put everyone he cares for before himself, and will do anything to bring joy to those he loves. He will never keep his opinions and thoughts quiet, and will always speak his mind. He is willing to wait out the distance for selene, and understands that even with trials and tribulations, his patience and understanding of Selene's difficult mind is key in helping her make it through a long-distance period.
