Project Synopsis
In a world-famous studio, an emerging musician realizes he’s not just recording music—he’s fueling a test that blurs the line between authenticity and survival.
Character 1
Joseph
Age
Late 20s–Early 30s
Gender
Male
Description
A soft-spoken, nervous musician with big dreams and a fragile sense of self-worth. Idealistic yet socially awkward, Joseph struggles to balance his ambition with his insecurities, often fumbling through interactions. He carries an air of performative confidence. His emotional connection to Leila is a blend of admiration and dependency. Musical familiarity is a strong asset (actor must believably handle a guitar).
Character 2
Leila
Age
Early 20s-30s
Gender
Female
Description
Warm and composed, with an air of quiet complexity. Her deep connection with Joseph is laced with moments of emotional distance, hinting at something unsettling beneath the surface.
Character 3
RJ
Age
40s-50s
Gender
Male
Description
Charismatic and polished, with an unsettling edge beneath his authoritative exterior. Smooth and welcoming one moment, cold and menacing the next, his sudden shifts in demeanor reveal his true, ambitious nature. His commanding presence dominates every scene, balancing an "on coke" energy with an eerie control that keeps others guessing.
Character 4
Director
Age
40s to 50s
Gender
Female
Description
A composed and calculating leader, the Director exudes an air of quiet menace and unshakable confidence. She approaches every situation with cold logic, treating people as tools to achieve her meticulously planned objectives.
Character 5
Lopez
Age
30s–50s
Gender
Male
Description
Rugged and resourceful survivor. Laid-back and friendly, with a philosophical edge that masks a guarded nature. His survival instincts contrast with his reflective and observant nature, suggesting he’s seen the darker sides of humanity (or its limitations). Despite his casual friendly attitude, he carries an air of mystery and guardedness.
Additional Characters

LIAM: Male. 20s-30s. A hesitant and somewhat nonchalant subordinate who finds himself in way over his head. He is deeply cautious but perceptive, always assessing the risks around him. Though he often keeps his thoughts to himself, his growing awareness of the drastic situation pushes him toward reluctant action.

RECEPTIONIST: Open gender. 20s-40s. Able to perform "glitching" movements convincingly, with controlled physical expressions and voice modulation.
