Project Synopsis
3rd Year Student short film for Capilano University. Our comedic drama follows Rob, a detective at rock bottom who is offered one last chance at career redemption: investigating a local disco crimelord alongside his apprentice, Marcus. As the two pursue the lead, Rob’s familial connections to the case are unveiled, with the prime suspect, Disco Dan, being Rob’s absent father. Now forced to confront the past that led to his mid-life crisis, the line between ally and enemy shifts to be as thin as the job title, or dance-off demands.
