Project Synopsis
Roberto left Mexico for Canada as a young college student, carrying nothing but dreams of a better future. Determined to carve out a life of success and stability, he worked tirelessly to build a career and provide for his growing family. However, years later, with the birth of his second child fast approaching, he still finds himself feeling like an outsider. Struggling to keep up with the high expectations set by his wife’s friends and family.

Ethnicity: Latin American, preferably Mexican Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Description: A Mexican immigrant and father of two, now working a demanding corporate job in Calgary, while his family lives in Vancouver. Once hopeful and ambitious, Roberto is now emotionally distant, weighed down by stress and his fading sense of self-worth. He is struggling to balance the expectations of being a provider with the emotional needs of his family. Bilingual fluency and strong emotional range are essential.
