Project Synopsis
The Hue of Us follows two teens from broken homes who fall into a relationship hoping love will heal their pasts — but instead, their pain starts bleeding into each other. A psychological drama rooted in real struggles like trauma, abuse, and mental health, the film explores what it truly means to heal — and whether you have to do it alone.

Character 1
Paris Johnson
Age
17/18
Gender
Male
Description
Ethnicity: Ideally fair-skinned caucasian with brown hair & brown eyes Character Description: Paris is a well-liked teen with a deeply hidden inner world. While he appears popular and composed, he is silently struggling with severe depression, self-harm, and the emotional weight of his parents’ toxic relationship. His dad is a gambling addict; his mom is cold and narcissistic. His only true outlet is painting — he pours his pain into his art. Sensitive, creative, and introspective, Paris longs for connection but doesn’t know how to ask for it. This role requires emotional vulnerability, range, and subtlety.
Character 2
Elliot Carrington
Age
18
Gender
Male
Description
Ethnicity/Appearance: Open to all looks Character Description: Elliott is Paris’s best friend — the rich, confident type who walks into a room like he owns it. A little cocky, a little flashy, but when he’s around Paris, everything changes. He softens. His loyalty to Paris is deep, quiet, and genuine — he’d do anything for him. Their friendship is one of the few safe places Paris has. Elliott adds warmth and depth to the story, showing a more tender side to a guy who rarely lets his guard down.
